Registration

For the online registration, please visit AMARYS, which is a website created by Japanese travel agency, JTB Corporation (“JTB” for short).

Before registration, you are required to sign up and create your account to login AMARYS website. Subsequently you can proceed to registration process including adding accompanying persons, paper submission, making a payment with a credit card and so on through the website.

AMARYS website consists of four procedures, which are “Paper submission”, “Conference registration”, “Accommodation”, “Payment status”. Note that the payment procedure is separated from registration and other application procedures. After conference registration procedure, click “Payment status” to complete your payment. Later on, you may apply for other options including accommodation and make a payment again. You can check your payment status on the website.

If credit card payment is not a convenient option for you or your organization, then, for alternative payment method, the conference organizers should be contacted via email:

Note: During the card payment, you will be asked to provide 3-D secure if your card company supports 3-D secure. If it is, you should activate your 3-D secure service through your card company website. 3-D secure service is not Card Security Code and is offered as "Verified by Visa" by Visa, "MasterCard SecureCode" by MasterCard, and "J/Secure" by JCB International. Deadline for early registration is 15 June, 2012.
The early registration fee will be applied if you register by the early registration deadline 15 June. You are NOT required to complete the payment by 15 June. We would appreciate it if you could complete the payment as soon as possible.
Note that you are required to complete the payment by 15 June to receive the discounted rate. If not, you are required to pay an extra 10,000 yen as a standard registration. Date and time are based on Japan Standard Time (GMT+9).

Deadline for standard registration (online registration via AMARYS) is 15 July, 2012. After the online registration is closed, participants can register on-site. For on-site registration, only cash is acceptable.

Registration fee covers the following:

  • Entry to all sessions
  • Abstract book (only for regular, student and retired participants)
  • Welcome reception at evening on Wednesday 18th
  • Transfer from Nagoya to Kyoto
  • Kyoto excursion with lunch on Sunday 22nd
  • Banquet on Tuesday 24th
  • Lunch on 19th - 21st and 23rd - 24th
To students and retired persons:
Go to the registration desk during the conference to receive 10,000 yen per capita by cash as a subsidy for participation. Make sure you register as “student”or “retired”, and bring your ID for confirmation.

About the fees for accompanying persons/children:
If your accompanying persons participate in only transfer to Kyoto and Kyoto excursion, go to the registration desk during the conference to receive 10,000 yen refund by cash per accompanying person. Make sure you notify us beforehand who needs a refund in the request field when you register. Accompanying children (age 0-5 yrs.) can attend all activities for free.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations of registration must be notified to the local committee members via email (isoldexii-staff@list.ise.nanzan-u.ac.jp). You will receive a refund according to the following policy.

Cancellation received
  • no later than 15 June will receive 95% refund of your payment.
  • from 16 June through 15 July will receive 80% refund of your payment.
  • from 16 through 18 July will receive 20% refund of your payment.
  • on and after 19 July will not receive a refund.
